About The Director

Dr. Jon Thomas, Ed.D., LCPC

Therapist and Consultant
Approved LCPC and ACAD Supervisor

I have been working with individuals, couples, and families in the Maryland area for  over 20 years, During my time here I have had the privileged to serve as a college chaplain, youth pastor, university professor, clinical supervisor, and mental health clinic director. At present I divide my time between serving mental health and substance abuse clinics as a clinical supervisor and consultant and running a thriving group practice. My specialty is in helping other professionals fight off burnout and establish an effective work/life balance.  This became increasingly important with the additional stress Covid-19 has placed on all of us.

About Paulette

Paulette Moore, MS, LCPC

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

School Therapist/Advisor

Paulette has worked as a school therapist/advisor for 10 years. After completing her M.S in counseling at Johns Hopkins she turned her focus towards helping others through some of life's most difficult transitions.

"From leaving the womb and seeing the world for the first time, to packing up and leaving our job and retiring, to our final transfer from life as we have always known it, to the unknown beyond, life is full of transitions.

All of these changes present obstacles as well as possibilities. Many people notice the difficulties in transitions, dreading the prospect of trying something new and unfamiliar, and experience anxiety, panic, and despair as a result.

Transitions has always seemed like opportunities to me; opportunities to extend my wings and expand my universe.

As a therapist, it is my mission to assist clients in seeing the problems of the unknown as opportunities
Let's work together to use a shift as an opportunity to put our skills to the test, discover strengths we didn't even realize we possessed, and move on knowing we can rekindle old passions and build new ones. Let's make the future amazing together!
